Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps cultural spokesman has emphasized that World Quds Day is a global protest, and does not just belong to Muslims.

In an exclusive interview with Iran Press news agency during International Quds Day rallies in Tehran on Friday, General Bahman Kargar added: "Today the whole world is opposed to Israel and protests against this regime."

Kargar also said:  "A prominent example of this protest that showed the whole world opposes Israel was a friendly football match between Argentina and Israel which was canceled by the Argentinian side".

He added:  "Quds is the first issue of Muslims and Today has become a global issue.  The role of Iranians in restoring the rights of Palestinians is very important."

At the end, General Kargar  expressed hope that Israel would be destroyed in less than  twenty years from now.

Millions of Iranians took part in massive World Quds Day rallies and demonstrations throughout the length and breadth of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Friday.  Rallies and marches in support of Palestinians, and in condemnation of the Israeli regime,  were held in cities across the world, in all continents, this year as in previous years, on the last Friday of the blessed month of Ramadhan.
