The Head of Iran's Academy of Persian Language and Literature has insisted on the usage of Farsi language in cyberspace.

"Now a days that talks are going on about managing the cyberspace in Iran we are happy to see activities which show the benefits of cyberspace and its' link with Farsi language", The Head of Iran's Academy of Persian Language and Literature Gholamali Haddad Adel noted in an interview with Iran Press news agency.

"The presence of Farsi language in cyberspace is both in the benefit of the language and in the benefit of Information technology", the senior Iranian literary figure added.

 

The Head of Iran's Academy of Persian Language and Literature Gholamali Haddad Adel's remarks came on the side line of a ceremony marking the 6th anniversary of the establishment of the foundation, coinciding with National Persian Language Day when a software application on learning Persian was also unveiled.
