"Regarding the importance and the role of tourism industry in national economy. Its' share now is so smaller than what it should be, because of that we put a group of supportive measures on the table to be able to upgrade its' capability", The head of Iran's parliament economic commission said.
This is the result of coordination that have been made with private and public representatives, Mohammad Reza Pour-Ibrahimi noted.
"About Two thousand and four hundred billion tomans has allocated to the tourism industry which a very good share. About one thousand and two billion tomans allocated to handicrafts and also one thousand and two billion tomans allocated to tourism industry", the head of Iran's parliament economic commission said.
Also the issue of forming the tourism ministry is on the table of Iranian parliament and its' preliminaries have been created, Pour-Ibrahimi added.
If this ministry had created, it would open a completely different path which its focus would be on activities, the head of Iran's parliament economic commission concluded.
