In this meeting, Staffan de Mistura talked about latest developments in Syria and relevant issues of mutual concerns.
The parties also discussed about the ways to implement the Astana accords and the final document of the Syrian National Dialogue Congress in sochi, as well as the cooperation of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United Nations to end the Syrian crisis and restore peace and stability.
He arrived in Tehran after his regional tour to Turkey and Russia.
