Iran Press/Iran news: In the first stage, releasing water from dams in Urmia, Bukan, Mahabad Drak and Zola cities along with recent rainfall has increased the size and area of Lake Urmia by hundreds of kilometers.
The second phase of the operation to release water into Lake Urmia, using the Saroq dam, has entered a new phase.
It is expected that up to 25 million cubic meters of water will be fed into the lake, to provide part of the ecological needs of this region.105/211/207
