Trump can not impose unilateral agreement

In an interview with Al Jazeera Zarif said any agreement on Iran's nuclear program must serve the interests of all parties.

Iran Press/ Middle East: "American President Donald Trump has no right to impose a unilateral nuclear deal on Iran," Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said in an interview with Al Jazeera.

"The war (in the region) will not benefit anyone, Trump cannot impose a unilateral agreement on Iran," he added.

Zarif continued: "Any agreement on Iran's nuclear program must serve the interests of all parties," he said.

The Hormuz Peace Initiative (HOPE) was put forward by the Iranian president, Hassan Rouhani, at September's gathering of world leaders at the UN General Assembly in New York.

The Iranian Foreign Minister is in Doha to attend a regional meeting of the Munich Security Conference.
