Iran Press/Middle East: Moqtada al-Sadr, signing a statement released by his close associates on Facebook, wrote: "Stop the bloodshed of the honorable Iraqi people by resigning the government."
The head of the Sadr Movement has also called for a UN-monitored election.
He noted that ignoring the blood of the Iraqi people is unbearable.
The peaceful protests of Iraqi citizens on their social and political status have turned violent by a group of Interlopers.

Some media claim that the number of people killed in the demonstration has reached more than 50.
Iraq has been rocked by angry and violent protests for the past few weeks. The protesters are dissatisfied with inadequate public services, a lack of job opportunities particularly for young people, and widespread bureaucratic corruption.
