Sanaa (IP) - Iran Press reporter in Yemen says that the Yemeni Army and Popular Forces targeted an Aramco oil facility in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, using drones.

Iran Press/Middle East: A Saudi oil refinery in the east of the country has been hit by a massive fire after a Yemeni drone targeted the facility.

Explosion and fire erupted in the Saudi refinery, owned by Aramco on Saturday morning, after a Yemeni drone attacked the facility.

According to an Iran Press report, online videos show a massive blaze at the refinery, with columns of smoke rising into the sky.

Drone attacks targeted a major Saudi Aramco processing facility and oilfield in eastern Saudi Arabia on Saturday, the Interior Ministry confirmed, sparking a huge fire at one of the sites before dawn.

The fires began after the sites were "targeted by drones," the Interior Ministry said in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency.

Online videos apparently from Buqyaq refinery, which is near Dammam in the kingdom's Eastern Province, included the sound of gunfire in the background. Smoke rose over the skyline and glowing flames could be seen from a distance.
