Hezbullah Secretary General on Monday stressed that Hezbullah and Iran will remain defiant in the face of the growing US pressures and sanctions.

Iran PressMiddle East: In brief political remarks during a religious sermon on Monday evening on the eve of the A'shura commemorations, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said, “We are fighting a grand battle and America and Israel are trying to besiege our camp.”

“Today the leader of our camp is Imam Khamenei, (the Leader of the Islamic Revolution)... and the United States is trying to besiege him,” Nasrallah added.

“Tonight and tomorrow we will tell US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that we are people whose will cannot be bent by besiegement, sanctions, poverty or hunger,” the Hezbullah Secretary General emphasized.

Nasrallah said he will address the latest political developments in a speech marking the day of Ashoura on Tuesday morning.
