Iran Press/Middle East: Syria's Army announced that the ammo cache was discovered on Sunday in a clearing operation in al-Malaq village the southern part of the Syrian province.
The landmines left behind by the Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist group in its former hideout in the village, SANA reported.
The Syrian army has found several caches of Israeli as well as US-made arms in different parts of Syria.
On 23 April 2019 Syrian government forces discovered Israeli and US-made weapons and munitions in the southern province of Quneitra, which was formerly controlled by militants and terrorists.
The ammunition included 37mm and 23mm auto-cannons as well as man-portable anti-armor rocket launchers.
A Western-made mine and an improvised explosive device (IED) detection system, binoculars, Thuraya satellite phones, a portable satellite internet system in addition to Jordanian, Saudi and Kuwaiti medicine were recovered from the militant redoubt as well.
