Tehran (IP) - The 19th Iran International Electricity Exhibition (IIEE 2019) kicked off at Tehran’s Permanent International Fairground on Thursday.

Iran Press/Iran News: The 19th Internationa Elecriticity Exhibition is held in Tehran for three days with participation of  foreign companies from Germany, Italy, China, Russia, France, Japan, Britain, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, Turkey, Finland and Lebanon along with the Iranian companies presenting their products and services.

Prior to the exhibition, Iranian Energy Minister, Reza Ardakanian, and Syrian Electricity Minister, Mohammad Zouheir Kharboutli discussed the ways of expanding strategic cooperation between Syria and Iran in the field of electricity. 

During the meeting, Ardakanian voiced Iran's readiness for further cooperation with the Syrian Electricity Minister and the promotion of the level of political cooperation and strategic relation between the two countries. 

Iranian Energy Minister said that a joint workgroup will be established in the next two days to follow up on the implementation of the joint plans of Iran- Syria.

Syrian Electricity Minister has been invited by the Iranian Energy Minister to attend the international exhibition on the electricity industry which will kick off on Thursday with representatives from 36 countries in attendance.

The 19th Iran International Electricity Exhibition, which focuses exclusively on the Electrical industry began its work in 31 Oct. and will continue until 3 Nov. 2019 in Tehran International Permanent Fairground.

The objective of this exposition is to act as a comprehensive resource for the industry, its members, prospective business visitors, and customers by providing in-depth information about the industry and the latest trends influencing its progress.

Earlier on that day, Ardakanian said that participating in international meetings is a must for reacting to the unilateralism and economic measures of the US. 104/219
