Iran's Army in a ceremony on Thursday unveiled a home-made training jet 'Yasin' in Shahid Nozheh Base of Hamedan Province, west of Iran.

Iran Press/Iran News: The advanced jet trainer 'Yasin' was unveiled with the presence of the Minister of Defense Major General Hatami, Commander of Army Air Force Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, and the Vice President for Science and Technology Sorena Sattari.

General Hatami said the sophisticated and advanced fighter jet was manufactured by domestic experts and conveys a clear message to the Global Arrogance that sanctions have had no effect on the Islamic Republic of Iran, according to Iran Press.

Passing its final tests, Yasin carried out its first formal flight with the command of the Commander of Army Air Force Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh on Thursday morning.

The Iranian jet was manufactured jointly by experts in Ministry of Defense, Army Air Force, and Presidential Deputy for Science and Technology.

The Iranian-made Jet is 12 meters long, 4 meters high, and 5.5 tones, load-free under operational take-off conditions, capable of flying up to 12 km.

Designing and manufacturing the very jet trainer, Iran is one of the few aviation technology holders which is ready to share the capability with other countries.
