Iran Press/ Iran news: In a meeting with visiting Pakistani prime minister Imran Khan, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution said: "The Islamic Republic of Iran has proposed a four-article plan for finishing the war on Yemen since a long time ago. The end of this war can have positive effects on the region."
Ayatollah Khamenei said that Iran sees Pakistan as a neighbouring brother, adding that: "With this unprecedented opportunity, the relations of the two countries should be better than what they currently are. Security of the borders should be enhanced and suspended projects like the gas pipeline should be completed."
"The Islamic Republic of Iran has never been the initiator of any war, but if any country begins a war against Iran, it will undoubtedly regret it," Ayatollah Khamenei added.
Ayatollah Khamenei insisted that the Islamic Republic of Iran had not initiated any war, saying: "Of course, if anyone starts a war against Iran, he will certainly regret his work."
During the meeting, also attended by President Rouhani, Pakistani Prime Minister called Iran and Pakistan two brothers, saying: "Tehran-Islamabad cooperation should be expanded and we count on relations with Iran, because we consider Iran an important partner, especially in the field of commerce."
