Iran's president said the enemies of the Islamic system and the Iranian nation may not admit, but they have accepted that the strategy of maximum pressure against the country has failed.

Iran Press /Iran News: In a meeting with the Minister of Intelligence Seyyed Mahmoud Alavi, deputy ministers and senior managers of the Ministry, Hassan Rouhani pointed to the US withdrawal from the Iranian nuclear deal and the enemies' efforts to create tension inside the country, saying, "Our nation made a great sacrifice in the tough test of countering the maximum pressure of malignant enemies."

"The Iranian people have shown that they are vigilant and they know the root cause of the pressures and hardships," he said.

Rouhani noted: "Today, the most important gratitude of officials towards the nation is the preservation of the Islamic system, dear Iran, national interests and the demonstration of efficiency and service to society."

The President went on to say that despite the unprecedented problems and hostilities against the Iranian nation, important economic indicators have improved in recent months and the role of the Ministry of Intelligence in this regard has been prominent.

Analyzing different angles, opportunities, and threats of cyberspace as an important reality in today's world, Rouhani said, "The big task of the Ministry of Intelligence is to discover the facts in the digital world and to provide accurate information and strategic analysis.

At the meeting, the President appreciated the efforts of the Minister, the Deputy Ministers, the General Managers and the staff of the Ministry of Intelligence.

At the beginning of the meeting, Minister of Information, Seyed Mahmoud Alavi, presented a comprehensive report on the ministry's performance in recent years, describing compliance with religious, legal, and ethical principles as the organizational culture of the ministry.

At the meeting, a number of deputies and senior executives of the Ministry of Intelligence shared their views with the President, presenting reports on the performance of their specialty areas.
