No bioterrorism on Takhte- Ravanchi

Iran's foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif denied any bioterrorism case on Iran's envoy to the United Nations Majid Takhte-Ravanchi.

Iran Press /Iran News: Iran's FM said: "Takhte-Ravanchi is in under surgery and chemotherapy in a hospital in New York".

He said: "Takhte-Ravanchi was appointed as Iran's envoy to the UN and went to our office there, then he noticed that he had cancer, this means that he was not aware of his illness in Iran or before dispatching".

"Had we known of his sickness we wouldn't have sent him to the Mission. We would surely have started his treatment", Zarif highlighted.

Iran's FM said: "But the illness was diagnosed in the US and his doctor also emphasized urgent surgery operation should be done."
