Tehran (IP) - Iranian Government spokesman, Ali Rabiei in his weekly press conference, stressed that Iran is fully standing by Iraq, and that the Iranian Government is doing its best to assist Arba'een pilgrims.

Iran Press /Iran NewsAnswering Iran Press reporter's question about unrest in some Iraqi cities, Rabiei said: "Unfortunately, some neighbouring countries have a role in Iraq's unrest, but Iran fully supports its neighbour Iraq."

Rabiei also answered a question on what steps Iran has taken to better organize and prepare for the Arbaeen mourning rituals, saying: "Arbaeen Trek is important, but there were some problems regarding selling of passenger plane tickets, but these have been sorted out. The minister of Road and Urban Development has taken charge of this issue, controlling the selling of plane tickets and Foreign Ministry and Interior ministry are controlling the borders." 

Iranian Government spokesman added: "Arbaeen is the greatest cultural and religious gathering in the world, so all bodies of the Iranian government are doing their best to prepare and provide services for Arba'een pilgrims." 

"This year Arba'een pilgrimage would be unique," Rabiei noted.
