IRGC military drill kicks off in Iran Fars province

Simultaneously with the Sacred Defense Week, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) launched a military exercise codenamed 'Ela Beit ul-Muqaddas' (Towards al-Quds), in Iran's the east of Shiraz, Fars province, on Friday.

Iran Press/Iran News: Referring to the economic war of the enemies against the Islamic Revolution, local commander of IRGC in the province, Morteza Khosravani said, "Due to failure to achieve their goals in 8 years sacred defense, the enemies entered into economic war with Iran and they exert Maximum of pressures on Iranians and Islamic Revolution."

Noting that Iran has great capabilities, he added, "Thanks to the sacred defense values, we have been able to achieve the most advanced military equipment and we have also guided precision missiles to attack any target from the long-distance", Iran Press reported.

The military drill will take two days and it will go on by Saturday evening. 101/216
