Isfahan (IP) - Iran's Minister of Culture and Islamic guidance called children cinema as the identity of the Iranian cinema.

Iran Press/Iran News: The 32nd International Film Festival for Children and Youth which was underway in Iran’s central city of Isfahan finished its work on Monday.

The closing ceremony was attended by Iran's Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Seyyed Abbas Salehi as well as Iran's Vice President for Women and Family Affairs, Masoumeh Ebtekar together with other provincial officials, reported Iran press.

Speaking at the 32nd International Film Festival for Children and Youth closing ceremony, Salehi said that Children cinema is responsible for the identity of the Iranian cinema and it should be received more attention.

Iran's Minister of Culture and Islamic guidance also highlighted that "in case of weakening Children cinema, one could not think of the powerful and at the same time authoritative cinema.

Iran's top cultural figure also stressed the fact that the civil mainstream related to the children and adolescent cinema should be taken seriously so that the mainstream could be successfully communicated with. 104/ 203
