Iran Press/Iran news: Iran expressed full support for Afghanistan's territorial integrity and security, Ali Larijani said in a meeting with the chairman of Afghanistan's Senate, Fazal Hadi Muslimyar in Tehran on Saturday.
He underlined that Iran's strategy is to fully support the peace process in the neighboring country that is led by the Afghan government, Iran Press reported.
The Speaker of the Majlis (Parliament) also said that he had a good discussion with his Afghani counterpart. He also added that political consultations between the two countries should continue.
The chairman of Afghanistan's Senate for his part thanked Iran for its support of the Afghanistan peace process and called for strengthening and expansion of the two countries' bilateral relations. 101/211
