Iranian Defense Ministry helps car-makers to deal with unjust sanctions against Iranian auto industry

Iran’s defense minister announced that the ministry has declared its readiness to the ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade to cooperate and help the car-manufacturing industry to overcome sanctions.

Iran Press/Iran news: After meeting with 'National Security and Foreign Policy Commission' of Iran’s Majlis (Parliament), Iranian Minister of Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami said that “even though the foreign companies which came to cooperate with us in this field left Iran, the defense ministry with committed and skilled workforce, as well as its advanced industrial platforms, is ready to address the needs of the domestic car part manufacturers.”

“Fortunately, there are good links between Defense and Industry ministries, significant numbers of required parts which the foreign companies provided us in the past, are now manufactured at home and we can supply them to the car makers,” said Hatami.

Pointing out to his meeting with the committee in Majlis, Iranian defense minister went on to say: “These meetings are held routinely every season and in a report, I briefed MPs about the latest events and situation of Iran’s defense sector; in today’s session, some questions have been asked by the members of this commission and I answered them as appropriate.”    212/211/ 104
