Iran Press/Iran news: Presidential advisor for ethnic and religious minorities Ali Younesi, several Kurdish figures from Iran and Iraq and some famous Kurds like Mazhar Khaleghi, a Kurdish musician, have attended the international congress of famous Kurdish figures.
The Two-day congress kicked off on Tuesday morning with reciting the special message of Rouhani to the Congress, Iran Press reported.
“We will never forget those Kurds who sacrificed their lives to save their homeland from enemies and also the ones who served the Iranian culture and literature well,” said Hassan Rouhani in a message.
“It is obvious that there is no difference between different sects of Iran, all are respected and this congress is a chance to honor all of the sects living in Iran,” added Iran’s President.
