Iran press/Iran news: 220 Iranian lawmakers attended the open session of the Parliament, known as Majlis, on Sunday chaired by the Speaker, Ali Larijani.
According to an Iran Press report, the session commenced and the agenda of the day was read out by a member of the parliament's presiding board, Seyyed Amir Hossein Ghazizadeh Hashemi, as follows:
(1) Review of an economic commission report considering a temporary agreement bill to set up a free trade zone between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the members of the EurAsian Economic Union.
(2) Review of a report by the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, about America's performance and record on Human Rights in 2018.
(3) Review of a report by the parliament's economic commission about a cooperation and mutual administrative assistance agreement between Iranian and Vietnamese customs organisations.
(4) Review of a report by a special commission on supporting national manufacturing and production and oversight of implementation of principle 44 of Iran's constitution and the Government's performance vis-a-vis implementation of article 22 of the sixth development programme, aiming to improve Iran' s business environment indices.
(5) Review of a report by the economic commission of Majlis, examining amendment of the clause No (3) of article 2 of direct taxation law, passed in 1987, together with further amendments.
(6) A report by the Majlis economic commission examining an agreement bill to promote and support joint investments between the governments of Iran and Iraq. Submitting the reports of those who are in charge of National housing plan. The continuation of the judicial and the legal commission report for harsher sentences of those convicted of committing acid attacks, and more support for victims of acid attacks. 213/211/203
