Iran Press/Iran news: In an interview with reporters, Seyyed Abbas Mousavi said on Monday, "The United States needs to rethink in its approach to international trends and realities such as increasing power of other actors and the relative decline of US power in the world."
Mousavi added, "The US trade war with China, which has been one of the most important international challenges in recent months, has dimensions and implications that can go beyond the level of bilateral relations between the two countries. This US policy has targeted the development and welfare of the people of the whole world," Iran Press reported.
He added that "the example of the Trump government's approach to creating tensions and dummy crises can be seen in Washington's irresponsible withdrawal from international agreements such as the Islamic Republic of Iran's nuclear deal and the imposition of unilateral sanctions against other nations. This approach is now visible in US trade war with China."
The Islamic Republic of Iran condemns this policy and US approach as the Economic Terrorism," Mousavi stated.
He added that statistics and analysis indicate that the US approach has created this trade war with China and could reduce US $ 600 billion of world GDP over the next two years, which means increasing poverty and reducing welfare and standards.
Mousavi said: "We believe that the US efforts to maintain its past position by imposing unconventional costs on others is doomed to failure. Given the current fluctuations, this approach is not in line with the international power pyramid." 104/213
