Iran Press/Europe: Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani on Monday expressed hope for resolving Kashmir conflict, saying: "There are limited relations between Iran and Pakistan on economic issues, so the two major countries of the region should strengthen their bilateral ties to use their capacities even further."
"Iranians have a positive view of Pakistan," the Speaker reiterated.
The Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, for his part, hailed the Islamic Republic for its support of the Kashmir issue, and called for increasing economic cooperation between the two countries in favor of the development of Iran and Pakistan.
Asad Qaiser also invited Larijani to travel to Pakistan, saying that, "With this trip, the relevant agencies can collaborate better and more."
Ali Larijani traveled to Belgrade on Sunday to attend the 141st IPU Assembly from October 13 to 17.
The IPU is the global inter-parliamentary institution that facilitates parliamentary diplomacy and empowers parliaments and parliamentarians to promote peace, democracy and sustainable development around the world.
