Iran Press/Europe: Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov made the remarks on Friday after the meeting of the Joint Commission on the JCPOA in Vienna.
"We are asking the European parties of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action JCPOA not to accompany the United States' sanctions against Iran," Ryabkov stated. "Our mission is to support and maintain the nuclear agreement and to resolve the barriers ahead of the implementation of it," Iran Press reported.
The Russian diplomat reiterated that the activity of the Arak heavy water reactor is within the framework of JCPOA.
Ryabkov added that Iran is fully committed to all its obligations under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
"We have been working with Iran for a long time, very closely in all directions, especially in the framework of practical cooperation in the nuclear field," he said.
He noted that the volume of trade exchange between the Russian Federation and Iran is increasing, and that the two countries have a number of major projects in the energy sector, rail transport and the supply of agricultural products. 213/
