Iran Press/Middle East: On 14 September, a spokesman for the Yemeni Army said that unmanned Yemeni aircraft has attacked two Saudi oil refineries deep inside the country, hitting the Abqaiq oil processing facility and the Kharis oil refinery in eastern Saudi Arabia, Iran Press reported.

Saudi Aramco, a state-owned fossil fuel giant, operates and controls the majority of the kingdom's refinery production and oilfields.

A spokesman for the Yemeni Army has confirmed that unmanned Yemeni aircrafts have attacked two Saudi oil refineries deep inside the country, hitting the Buqyaq and Kharis oil refineries in eastern Saudi Arabia.

The spokesman also said the drone operation, codenamed 'balanced deterrence 2' was one of the most complicated airstrikes ever carried out by the Yemeni army deep inside Saudi Arabia, with as many as ten drones participating in the attack.

The Yemeni army spokesman also warned Saudi Arabia that Yemeni airstrikes will be expanded and many more targets will be hit if Riyadh continues with its war of aggression and total blockade of Yemen.
