The Afghan Special Forces arrested ten Taliban and five ISIS terrorists during an operation in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan.

Iran Press/Asia: Afghan Police Department said on Sunday that the Special Forces arrested the Taliban and ISIS terrorists in Chahar Asyab district in Kabul, Afghanistan.

The operation is still continuing, Iran Press reported.

The Taliban terrorist group is yet to comment about the operation.

In order to improve security in Kabul, Afghan security forces have begun a special operation on June 16.

Different parts of Afghanistan have witnessed an increase in terrorist attacks in recent months. The increase of insecurity has led to the protest of the Afghan people.

On July 11, the Taliban attacked a village in the province of Ghor which killed 21 people.

Earlier on July 1, 34 people were killed and 68 injured by the series of blasts which hit Kabul’s diplomatic district, a densely populated area surrounding the ministry of defense, interior ministry.

The war in Afghanistan started with the United States' invasion on 7 October 2001. The US Army was supported by NATO. One of the claimed war's aims was to remove the Taliban from power and to bring peace to the country.

After 18 years, the US and NATO have been unable to bring peace to Afghanistan, but also their military presence in Afghanistan is the main reason for increased violence and killings.
