Iran Press/America: In a meeting with his Venezuelan counterpart Delsey Rodriguez on the sidelines of the annual UN General Assembly meeting in New York on Friday, Mohammad Javad Zarif discussed US interference in Latin America, as well as the crisis that the US has created for Venezuela.
Zarif also discussed the US economic terrorism and ways to counter it, defining the idea of ??"Coalition of Hope" and 'Hormuz Peace Endeavour' (HOPE) presented by the Iranian President to the UN General Assembly, Iran Press reported.
The Iranian Foreign Minister also met with the foreign ministers of Syria, Kuwait, Iraq, Pakistan, the Netherlands, Finland, Armenia, Nicaragua, and Cuba on Friday to discuss the Syrian crisis, Yemen, the JCPOA and other regional issues along with bilateral relations.
In another development, the Iranian Foreign Minister attended a meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).
Zarif also met with the UN Secretary General's Special Representative for Syria.
Iran's top diplomat is currently on a visit to New York to attend the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
