Iran Press/Africa: The Kaduna State High Court in Nigeria had fixed Monday for ruling on the bail applications for the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky and his wife to travel to India for medical treatment.
The Islamic Movement in Nigeria on its Twitter account wrote that: "The court has granted Sheikh Zakzaky and his wife the permission to travel to India for medical treatment."
"The judge ruled that Sheikh Zakzaky, and his wife must be allowed to seek medical treatment. Zakzaky could lose his life at any time and without medical treatment, there is no way they (Zakzaky, and his wife) could stand to defend themselves at the court."
While in 2016 Nigeria's federal high court ordered his unconditional release from jail following a trial, but the Nigerian government has so far refused to set him free.104/218
