According to Iran Press citing Xinhua, China's Geng Shuang made the remarks at a news briefing when asked for comment about the recent report from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which said Iran had again stayed within key limitations set in the JCPOA.
China highly appreciates the IAEA carrying out supervision and verification based on an objective and neutral attitude, Geng said.

He stressed that all relevant parties to the JCPOA had maintained close communication and consultation, and the parties emphasized that they would be firmly committed to maintaining and implementing the agreement and fulfilling their responsibilities and obligations.
"China will work with relevant parties to continue making efforts for that goal and firmly safeguard its own legitimate rights and interests," he added.
"We once again called on relevant parties to remain restrained and strengthen dialogue," Geng said, adding that conflict and confrontation are not the way out for resolving the issue, and dialogue and consultation are the only correct way.
On the first anniversary of the US withdrawal from the nuclear deal, Iran announced that it would suspend the implementation of some of its commitments under the deal, announcing that it would stop exporting excess uranium and heavy water, setting a 60-day deadline for the five remaining parties to the deal to take practical measures towards ensuring its interests in the face of the American sanctions.203/209
