Iranian freestyle team won four more gold medals in day 2 of the 2019 Asian wrestling Championships in Xi’an, China as the team won the title for the 26th time.

Iran Press/Asia: Behnam Ehsanpour took a gold medal in the 61kg after defeating his Chinese rival LIU Minghu 2-1 in the final match.

Kamran Ghasempour defeated Kyrgyzstan’s Aligarizhi Gamidgadzhiev 10-0 in the 86kg final bout, Iran Press reported.

In the 92kg, Alireza Karimi defeated Vicky Chahar from India 11-0.

And Yadollah Mohebbi beat Chinese Deng Zhiwei 2-1 in the final match of the 125kg.

Reza Atri (57kg), Bahman Teymouri (79kg) and Reza Yazdani (97kg) had already won three gold medals in the competition’s Day 1.

Peyman Biabani in the 65kg, Younes Emami in the 70kg and Mohammad Nokhodi in 74kg also won three bronze medals.

Iran claimed the title with 220 points. India came second with 155 points and Kazakhstan finished in third place with 129 points. 101/202
