Iran Press - The official in charge of fighting drug trafficking at Iran's embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan has emphasised that Iran and Afghanistan work very closely, and share intelligence reports, in the fight against drugs and narcotics.

The official at Iran's embassy in Kabul, IslamBayani , in an interview with IRIB, said the two countries share intelligence and cooperate very closely in the fight against drugs. In fact, an Afghan delegation , headed by general Abdul Khalil Bakhtiyar Moein , is visiting Tehran to coordinate with Iranian officials. 

ٍٍEarlier, Iranian president Hassan Rouhani and his Afghan counterpart Ashraf Ghani have talked on the sidelines of the SCO summit in China and have emphasized on the expansion of bilateral ties.

In the meeting on the sidelines of the two-day Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in the Chinese port city of Qingdao on Saturday, Iran and Afghanistan presidents emphasised on the expansion of bilateral political and economic relations as well as issues of mutual interests.
