Deputy chairman of Iran parliament's national security and foreign policy committee said that the Iranian MPs included any material in the bill necessary for defending the IRGC and defeating Trump's plots, and they provide officials with the necessary authorities.

Iran PressIran news: Asked about the latest updates about Iranian MPs bill on US president Donald Trump's recent unlawful action against Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), deputy chairman of parliament's national security and foreign policy committee Kamal Dehghani Firouzabadi told Iran Press that the Iranian parliament and the Supreme National Security Council of Iran have responded appropriately to Tramp's action in recognizing IRGC a terrorist group.

The Iranian parliamentarian made the remarks in an exclusive interview with Iran Press news agency.

He stressed that the illegal action of Trump is against international rules which target Iran's interests and national security, adding: "Trump decisions ignore and reject international laws, like his recent decision about Gilan Heights which violates the Security Council's agreement that considers the Golan as an occupied territory. It happened while the US itself is one of the five permanent members of this council."

To counteract this action, Iran MPs presented a bill that has been changed both the title and content while examining in National Security and Foreign Policy Commission; initially intended to support the IRGC, which turned into counter-parable with this US .administration illegal action

In the content of the bill, the MPs included any material that was necessary to defend the IRGC and defeat Trump's plots, and they provided officials with the necessary authorities.

What is important is that this bill is based on a rational and revolutionary stand and that Iran has the required means to deal with this unlawful US action.

He stressed that the bill particularly targets commanders of the US Central Command (CENTCOM), which is deployed in West Asia, and the reason why they have been sent to the Middle East is unclear, adding: "Iran has the potential to counteract with US forces for sure."

On April 8, US President Donald Trump placed IRGC on terrorism blacklist which drew a fierce reaction from the global community.
