Iran Press/America: On May 31, 2019, Al-Quds Day Committee of Muslim Congress held a protest in Times Square, New York to commemorate the annual International Day of Al-Quds in support of the oppressed Palestinian people.
Scores gathered to commemorate al-Quds day in New York City, Friday. The big crowd gathered near Times Square and rallied the streets carrying Palestinian flags and numerous signs decrying Israel's activity in the Gaza Strip.
Protesters gathered in support of the oppressed people of Palestine and called for an end to racism and war.
Endorsed by dozens of human right organizations, protesters from all walks of life voiced their anger to the unjust and illegal occupation of the great Al-Aqsa Mosque and the usurpation of the Holy Land by the Zionist regime.
In addition, protesters condemned the current Saudi aggression in Yemen.
At the end of the rally, protesters declared that they reserve the right to boycott any and all parties involved in practising racist, discriminatory, and oppressive policies.
NYC's Al-Quds day commemoration was disrupted by pro-Zionist activists.
Al-Quds Day events are held in cities across the world, including many cities in the US, Canada and the UK.
Muslim Congress currently coordinates an effort to organize peaceful Al-Quds Day events in over 30 cities in the US. 101/211/205
