Iran Press/America: Mike Pompeo formally made the announcement to the media at the State Department Monday morning, with the State Department leading the move, saying the move will deprive the world's leading state sponsor of terror the financial means to spread misery and death.

Pompeo also claimed, "Today, the IRGC's era of plausible deniability is over."
Pompeo accused the IRGC of being responsible for the deaths of hundreds of American soldiers, claiming, "the blood of the 603 American soldiers" believed to have been killed by Iranian-sponsored groups is on the hands of the IRGC.
The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps has a key role in fighting the US-backed terrorist groups in the region.
