Iran Press/America: The members of the Security Council in a statement on Thursday, expressed their deepest sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims and to the Government of Iran and wished a speedy and full recovery to those who were injured.
The statement also reaffirmed that terrorism in all its forms and manifestations constitutes one of the most serious threats to international peace and security, Iran Press reported.
The members of the Security Council reiterated that any acts of terrorism are criminal and unjustifiable, regardless of their motivation, wherever, whenever and by whomsoever committed.
Also the United Nations Spokesperson Stephane Dujarric on Thursday condemned the terrorist attack in Sistan-Baluchestan and expressed condolences to the Iranian government and bereaved families over the deadly blast.
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps personnel were traveling between the cities of Zahedan and Khash, in Sistan and Baluchestan Province on Wednesday, when their bus was targeted in a car bomb attack.
The IRGC's Qods Headquarters said in a statement that an explosives-laden car had rammed into the bus, which was taking the personnel back to their homes.
The attack killed 27 IRGC members and wounded 13 others with the so-called Jaish ul-Adl terrorist group claiming responsibility for the bombing. 101
