Iran's ambassador to Bolivia, Reza Tabatabaie Shafiee said US support of Venezuelan opposition and its self-declared president is interfering in internal affairs of Venezuela.

Iran Press/America "Legal and international stance that countries around the world should take in support of process in Venezuela is to confirm that US support for Juan Guaidó, self-declared president of Venezuela is a prominent example of US interference in other country's internal affairs," said Iran's ambassador to Bolivia in an exclusive interview with Iran Press news agency.

"There is no assurance and record that shows US meddling in a country, benefits the people of that country; Venezuelan people support for the opposition is rooted in their economic problems and hardship, otherwise, there was no support for the opposition groups," he said

"In response US support for the opposition, Nicolas Maduro, the president of Venezuela has ordered to deport American diplomats from Venezuela and asked all Venezuelan diplomats to return to their homeland," he said.

Referring to Trump and US vice president request for US diplomats to stay in Venezuela, Iranian ambassador to Bolivia said: "The coup has failed in Venezuela, the US is too busy with its own problems and Venezuelan Army stands loyal to Maduro."

Shafie said "The United States has found a new way to overthrow its opponent governments, which is to support self-declared oppositions and using violence for the seizure of power. It is a new approach to international relations."  212/103
