Iranian commander:

Zahedan (IP) - Iran’s Army Navy Commander says that the Zulfiqar-1400 joint drills have two messages for the countries of the region and the international arena.

Iran PressIran news: Rear Admiral Shahram Irani in an exclusive interview with Iran Press on the sidelines of the Zulfiqar-1400 joint drills, stated: “We sent a message to all friendly, and neighboring countries to know that today Islam can have a say in the battlefield and operations. We send a message to the international scene that whenever Iranians are treated with respect; certainly, Iran will treat them with respect, otherwise, we will definitely respond to them differently.”

The Navy Commander stated that the first goal of the Zulfiqar-1400 exercise was to coordinate the forces and use new equipment, which was prepared by the defense industry experts. 

He added: “The transfer of knowledge and experience to young forces who are working in the operational body of the navy of the Army is among the goals of this exercise.”

The Commander of the Navy added: "This exercise shows that the capability of the Armed Forces today, and in particular the Strategic Naval Army, is such that it can provide security effectively and it is currently carrying out this very valuable mission in the depths of the sea.”

The main stage of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army's joint military exercise in the Sea of Oman, Indian Ocean, and the Red Sea kicked off on November 7, using the new Army's equipment and ammunition.
