Iran Press/ Middle East: Several explosions were heard in the eastern part of Gaza strip after the Zionist army attacked 'Khan Yunis' early on Thursday.
Also, three Israeli soldiers were injured in Gaza border after a clash broke out between the soldiers and Palestinians, Alalam news channel reported citing Shehab News.
It was the heaviest cross-border fighting in recent weeks.
Palestinians had earlier reported heavy fighting near Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Zionist regime has started a new round of aerial attacks on the coastal enclave since March 2017.
Israel has waged three wars on Gaza since 2008, including the 2014 offensive, which left more than 2,200 Palestinians dead and over 11,100 others injured.
Israeli fighter jets frequently bomb Gaza. The Israeli military also uses drones over the impoverished region either to monitor and photograph Palestinians in the blockaded coastal enclave or launch aerial attacks against targets. 203/209/201
