Tehran (IP) - Iranian Parliament Speaker's Special Aide for International Affairs Hossein Amirabdollahian considered UAE and Bahrain’s normalization of ties with the Israeli regime as a new method of the regime to occupy the Persian Gulf states.

Iran Press/Iran news: In a tweet on Wednesday, Amirabdollahian referred to the UAE and Bahrain’s normalization of ties with the Israeli regime, saying: “Zionism, once occupied parts of Arab World, is now occupying the Persian Gulf states with a new approach.”

“Accord with Great Egypt was futile for Tel Aviv; UAE & Bahrain are the Egyptian islands in terms of size,” Amirabdollahian noted, stressing that insecurity is the only “souvenir” of the Israeli regime.

UAE and Bahrain’s foreign ministers Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani‎ ‎signed an agreement of normalizing ties with the Israeli Regime’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday with the presence of the US President Donald Trump in the White House.
