Iran Press/Iran news: Mohammad Javad Zarif called for urgent measures by the Pakistani government to ensure the safety and health of the kidnapped border guards and to identify and arrest the elements of the terrorist incident, in accordance with the previous understandings and dialogues, emphasizing the need to ensure and enhance the security of the common borders between the two countries and the rapid return of all these border guards to Iran, reported IRNA .
Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, with the extreme condemnation of this anti-human terrorist group and deeply regretted the incident, said, “All Pakistan facilities serve the necessary steps to find and arrest the elements of the incident and freedom and security of Iranian border guards.”
“These terrorist groups are considered enemies of the two nations, and the government of Iran and Pakistan, which are trying to disturb the friendly relations between the two neighboring countries,” said Pakistan's Foreign Minister.
On Tuesda ,the IRGC has confirmed that 14 Baseej (volunteers) and border guards were kidnapped by a terrorist group on Tuesday morning. The incident happened about 50 kilometers from the town of MirJaveh in Balouchestan of southeastern Iran, very close to the border with Pakistan.

On the same day, Iran Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Ghasemi urged Pakistan government to take necessary steps to locate and release kidnapped Iranian border guards, and also arresting and punishing the terrorists responsible for the kidnapping.
Further more, on Wednesday, Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari warned kidnappers of the Iranian border guards of upcoming crushing response.
