Iran Press/ Iran news: Zarif in his twitter account referred to the exchange of Iranian scientist Masoud Soleimani and Zhao Wang in Zurich, saying that 'After getting our hostage back this week, fully ready for a comprehensive prisoner exchange. The ball is in the US’ court.'
He further added: "Today, back to regional diplomacy in Istanbul, at the Ministerial Heart of Asia meeting, joining forces for peace & development in Afghanistan."
Massoud Soleimani, the stem cell scientist, has traveled to the United States on October 7, 2018; however, the US arrested and transferred him to prison prior to his entry into the United States for more than 12 months without any acceptable reason and in violation of academic and research protocols.
Two days ago, Iran has released a Princeton University graduate student who was imprisoned on espionage charges in exchange for an Iranian scientist held in the US for allegedly violating sanctions.207/219
