Iran’s Foreign Minister,Mohammad Javad Zarif, And Foreign Ministers of Norway Ine Marie Eriksen Suridah

Tehran (IP) - The Foreign Ministers of Iran and Norway discussed the two countries' joint efforts to combat Corona Coronavirus.

Iran PressIran news: Mohammad Javad Zarif and Ine Marie Eriksen Suridah had a telephone conversation on Wednesday.

Iran’s Foreign Minister and his counterpart exchanged views on the two countries' cooperation in the fight against Coronavirus, Iran Press reported.

Yesterday, Foreign Ministry spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi announced Iranian FM's further consultations with some European Foreign Ministers on working together to tackle the Coronavirus, and referred to consultation with the European Commission to exploit its potential in the field.

The Coronavirus outbreak began in December 2019 in Wuhan, China, and appears to have been originated from non-domestic animals. Chinese officials now admit that the virus probably spread in Wuhan in November or even earlier. 

More than 3,100 people have died and over 93,000 have been infected worldwide. The vast majority of cases are in China.
