Iran Press/Middle East: Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif after meeting with Qatari counterpart, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in a tweet called his meetings productive.
He also stressed that only regional nations can ensure regional security.
Zarif on Sunday evening left Tehran for Doha capital of Qatar, to hold talks with senior Qatari officials.
In his meeting with the Emir of Qatar in Doha, Zarif stressed Iran's view to developing relations with all of its neighboring countries, referring to Iran-Qatar ties as a model of Iran's political relations with the regional countries.
Qatar's Emir, Tamim bin Ahmad Al Thani also for his part pointed out to close and brotherly ties of his country with Iran, stressing the two countries' consultations on regional and international issues and finding a solution for regional problems.
The Emir also said that his country is ready to maintain peace and security in the region.
