Yemen (IP) - Yemen's Defense Minister emphasized that the country's armed forces are at the highest level of readiness to hit the depths of the Israeli-occupied territories of Palestine.

Iran Press/West Asia: In a military convene in Sana'a, Major General Mohamed al-Atifi stated that the Zionist regime would pay a heavy price for attacking Hodeida Port and targeting civilians.

Hezbollah conducted the first phase of its military operation on Sunday against the Israeli regime by firing hundreds of rockets and drones at the Israeli-occupied territories in retaliation for the regime's assassination of the Lebanese senior commander Fuad Shukur, and the regime is expected to aggress again.

General al-Atifi said that the most important target points in Israel have been monitored, identified, and analyzed for the next possible operations.

Describing Yemen's missile, air, and navy forces as powerful with good capabilities for accurately hitting the Israeli targets, the top Yemeni military official added: The Resistance Axis' response to the Zionist atrocities is definite, strategic, and decisive.

He emphasized that the US presence and deployment of military forces to the region to support the Zionist regime did not work and was doomed to failure.

Yemen announced that it would target any vessel either, Israeli or Israeli-affiliated, that passes through the Yemeni waters and even beyond in response to the Israeli regime's crimes against the Gaza Strip.

Following its 7-decade occupation of Palestine, the Israeli regime launched an all-out war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, killing more than 40,000 Palestinian people and wounding over 92,000 others, mostly women and children.
