Italian scholar says:

Italy (IP) - Italian scholar says the role of women in Islamic society was initially explained and clarified by the late Founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini in the early days of the Islamic Revolution's victory.

Iran PressEurope: The director of Imam Mahdi (AS) Islamic Center in Rome, Sheikh Abbas Di Palma, in an exclusive interview with Iran Press said that in Islamic society, Iranian women have a normal life where they can freely perform their social role, works and religious duties because Imam Khomeini clarified their rights in the early days of the Islamic Revolution's victory.

Sheikh Abbas said: "Imam Khamenei started a truthful campaign that every woman can live according to her religious, belief and principles and at the same time can play her role in society."

"We have witnessed that Muslim women were and are present in the forefront of the Islamic Revolution and the society of Iran," he told Iran Press.

Still, the Italian scholar recalled that Iranian women do not engage in some areas where men are present, due to the natural differences between men and women, noting that each one plays their own role.

Sheikh Abbas Di Palma said Ayatollah Khamenei has always emphasized the constant role of women in preserving the Islamic Revolution against the hybrid war on Iran, including the cultural war.
