Iran Press/ Iran news: Venezuelan Minister of Tourism Alí Padrón Paredes arrived in Tehran this morning heading a tourism-economic delegation of tourism activists and was welcomed at Imam Khomeini International Airport by Mohammad Hassan Talebian, deputy minister of cultural heritage, tourism, and handicrafts, and Ali Reza Izadi Director-General for Ministerial Office and International Affairs.
Padrón, who has traveled to Iran to attend the Tourism and Handicrafts Exhibition opening ceremony and visit tourist attractions and cultural and historical monuments in several provinces, said upon his arrival: "We consider Iran as our home. Iran is our friend. Fortunately, there are good relations between Iran and Venezuela."
He added: "During my trip to Iran, while meeting with high-ranking tourism officials, I will visit cultural and historical attractions, and I will also have meetings with the private sector."
Visiting the Tehran Tourism and Handicrafts Exhibition, meeting with his Iranian counterpart, signing the 2020-2024 Tourism Plan Memorandum, and holding a meeting with some private tourism sector activists are the first-day plans of the Venezuelan minister in Iran.
On the second day, he will be in Kerman province and visit the garden of Prince Mahan and the Shahdad desert, and on Thursday, he will visit some cultural and historical places of Isfahan. Visiting the world complex of Golestan Palace, National Museum, and Milad Tower in Tehran is one of his other plans during his trip to Tehran.
The International Exhibition of Tourism and Handicrafts opened on Tuesday morning in the presence of the Iranian Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Minister Ali-Asghar Mounesan and special guests at the Tehran International Exhibition Center.
