Iran Press/ Iran News: Vice-Chancellor for Global Strategies and International Affairs at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, Nasrollah Erfani on Thursday said: "The scientific videoconference of the University of Pennsylvania and Shiraz University of Medical Sciences will be held in the coming days with the aim of transferring and sharing experiences related to COVID-19 in the national and international arenas."
According to Erfani, professors from the University of Pennsylvania and Shiraz University of Medical Sciences will discuss various aspects of the coronavirus pandemic in Iran and the United States.
The coronavirus, officially known as COVID-19, which was detected late last year in the eastern Chinese city of Wuhan, has caused widespread problems for people and governments around the world.
Currently, the number of people infected with the coronavirus in the world has reached over 20 million and 877 thousand people, 748, 414 of whom lost their lives.
