Iran Press/ Iran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Sunday, Mahmoud Abbaszadeh-Meshkini said that the statements of the US Special Representative for Iran, Robert Malley, are more of a psychological war than a diplomatic one to gain more points.
Malley has said the United States will not lift all sanctions against Iran in Trump’s period and will leave the Vienna talks if the deal does not serve US interests.
The spokesman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran emphasized that Iran would do the same if its national interests are not served in the Vienna talks.
Abbaszadeh-Meshkini stressed that the Islamic Republic of Iran is present in the Vienna talks to ensure its national interests, and if it signs an agreement, it will do so within the framework of national interests.
He said that the literature of the US representative for Iran regarding the possible withdrawal from the Vienna talks was not accurate.
