Iran Press/ Middle East: Sabreen News channel reported that during these attacks, which were carried out by several drones, the illegal US base in the "Al-Omar" oil field in Deir Ezzor province was targeted.
No further details about possible casualties have been released.
Following Washington's invasion of Syria, news sources announced on Wednesday evening the attack on two American bases in the Omar oil field and also another military base in the Koniko gas field in eastern Syria.
The command headquarters of the US forces located in the region of West Asia, Central Asia and East Africa known as "CENTCOM" announced in a statement that the US military carried out airstrikes on infrastructure facilities in Deir ez-Zur, on the orders of US President Joe Biden.
At the same time, the spokesperson of the United Nations emphasized supporting the territorial integrity of Syria following the aggression of the US army against the people and infrastructure of Syria.
The UN spokesperson also called on the parties involved in Syria to exercise restraint and avoid escalating the situation.
